December 2, 2019

Ok. Let’s say you’ve got your budget sorted. Good. And you’ve been online looking at places that might be in affordable in the locations that could be good.

Here’s 3 simple disciplines that’ll ultimately make it all a little bit easier for you.

1. Ask this: What’s mandatory, what’s trade-able?

Do you really need 4 bedrooms, or would you sacrifice that is it had, say, a workable study. Make a 2 column list.

2. When you’re looking, only keep a max of 3 places on your short list.

This can be hard to do, because it means letting-go of a place you found earlier. Be tough on yourself.

3. Know the back-story of the 3 places on your short list.

For example, talking to the neighbours if you get the chance is an excellent thing to do! Another is knowing the history of the place is so easy to find out thanks to Domain.com.au
